Now this is my personal recipe that i have used for the last 5 years. I found a great recipe for a basic banana bread and just made a few tweeks here and there.

Banana Bread

2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour

2 tsp. Baking Soda

2 tsp. Cinnamon

1 tsp. Nutmeg

1 tsp. Salt

1 cup Butter ( Shortening if out of butter)

2 Cups Sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

4 large Eggs

6 medium - large bananas

1/4 cup Honey

Directions: ( Pre-heat oven to 350F)

1.) Cream together the sugar, butter and vanilla. After creamy and fluffy add your eggs one at a time until each one is fully incorperated.

2.) Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add sifted mixture to the creamed butter mixture.

3.) In a medium bowl mix and mash the bananas until you form a smooth puree, some small lumps here and there are perfectly fine. Now add the honey, mix until fully incorperated.

4.) Pour mixture equally into 2 loaf pans and place in oven to bake for 30-45mins at 350F.

Test if the bread is done at 30 mins by sticking a knife, or toothpick in the center and pulling it out. If it comes out clean bread is done.
