About Us

In the spirit of me getting bored, I have decided that I want to start a blog. This is something I have been thinking about doing for a little while now and I feel that this might be the perfect time to start. Let me get into myself really fast and catch you up with my life and how this blog comes about.

So since Junior year of high school I have been working in the restaurant industry, and before that I was a farm hand. I think the farm hand experience helps me to understand the workings of farms and how/where our food comes from. I graduated from Johnson and Wales on May 18th, 2013. Where I received my AS in Culinary Arts and actually 1 class away from my Food Service Management BS'. Though i did not finish my BS an most people tell me i should get it done. I do not feel that i really need it. I feel that my experience has and will get me where and when i want to go. I have worked in Rhode Island for the last 4 years, before that I was working in my hometown of Downsville, New York. 3 days after graduating I flew out to Alaska where I am now a cook at the Aurora Bar and Grill in the Alyeska Resort. Check out the blog section to see where i am....(I move all the time)

Now that you know a little about me and my background this blog will probably make more sense as to why I am doing it and why I chose the contents that make up the blog. Not only will I be posting my knowledge that I learned and will learn about cooking I look for peoples inspiration for future culinary creations. This blog will encompass all sorts of creations from food to drinks and even decorative peices, edible or not.

Comments and ideas will always be welcomed here.........
